we collect only what we need to run the Services:
- information you give us. when you join our events list, we collect your first name (optional), email address, phone number, the event you throw, and your messaging preferences. when you create an account in the app, we collect your profile details (such as name, competition level, and personal records).
- throw content. videos you upload for analysis, and the biomechanical data derived from them (such as pose estimates, distances, grades, and progress over time).
- subscription information. if you subscribe, your purchase is processed by Apple. we receive subscription status (active, trial, expired) but not your full payment card details.
- usage and device data. basic analytics (pages and features used, events, approximate region), and technical logs such as IP address, browser/device type, and timestamps.
2. how we use your information
- to provide throw analysis, grades, drills, and progress tracking.
- to send you launch and product updates by email and, if you opt in, by SMS — including notifying you when a new event (shot put, hammer, javelin) becomes available.
- to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Services.
- to respond to your questions and support requests.
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. text messages (SMS)
if you opt in to SMS, we send transactional and update messages about your event and the app. message frequency varies. reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. message and data rates may apply. opting out of SMS will not remove you from email updates unless you also unsubscribe there.
4. how we share information
we do not sell your personal information. we share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to deliver the Services:
- Apple — App Store distribution and subscription billing.
- RevenueCat — subscription management; Stripe — web payment processing (if used).
- Anthropic — AI analysis of throw data; Google MediaPipe — on-device/processing pose estimation.
- Resend — email delivery; ClickSend — SMS delivery.
- analytics and hosting providers (such as PostHog, Railway, and Cloudflare) — to run and measure the Services.
we may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

we keep your information for as long as your account or events-list subscription is active, and as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. you can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "your choices").
